I haven't blogged in a while about my work. Graduating and finishing my portfolios took a lot of time and dedication. Now, I'm ready to share some of my work! This series was completed for one of my final classes at the Art Institute. The series focuses on government buildings in Dallas. Most are local government buildings with the exception of some federal buildings.
I was inspired by photographers Ezra Stoller and Julius Shullman. Their work is striking in design and using light to sculpt the building. As for the subject, I find that most government buildings in Dallas are often overlooked. Some are even abandoned. The range in styles of architecture varies greatly which makes for great photographs showcasing how architecturally rich Dallas is. I hope you enjoy viewing my images. Thanks for reading!
